LAUSD Data Based Instruction Site (Website) allows students, parents, teachers, counselors, administratiors, and community members to read information on the following:
1. Why dos data matter?
2. How do I get to the data?
3. How is data used to make instructional decisions?
4. How dose LAUSD use data to make educational decisions?
MyData is a web-based tool that will increase the availability and usability of student data for LAUSD educators in order to improve teaching and learning. MyData reports student information such as state test scores, sutdnet grades, attendance, A-G coursework, periodic assessments, English Language Learner data, and more. Greater access to student data will allow educators to focus their instruction on the specifice learning needs of each student and, as a District, create a culture of data-based decision-making.
The Learning Zone (Here) is an LAUSD Professional Development and Training Portal for employees. Employees may choose Instructor Led Training, Web Based Learning, Virtual Class, Recorded Virtual Class, expert Led Training classes to accommodate for targeted instruction for the learner. Topics include Child Abuse Training, Classroom Management, effective Teaching Practices, Professional Development within Content areas and more.
Response to Instruction and Intervention (RtI2)
The Response to Instruction and Intervention (RtI2) Website allows teachers to gain information for an integrated approach to teaching using pedagogy, lesson design, and progress monitoring data to ensure the best instructional decisions for students, to ensure that every student, pre-school through adult, will receive quality, standards-based instruction in all content areas to enable all students to graduate college-prepared and career-ready.
The Office Discipline Referral Website is an online tool to report student infractions to the Dean. Infractions may be reported using a laptop, desktop, or Smartphone. The School-wide Positive Behavior Support Team, Safety and Discipline Committee, and teachers use the information collected to create targeted behavioral interventions for students.
The Core K-12 Website is used a s comprehensive assessment program. Teachers have access to LAUSD Period Assessments, Progress Monitoring, and Diagnostic Assessment. There are resources for teachers to create assessment based on student needs. This website will be used throughout the year to support instruction.

This is the CDE direct link to CST release test questions in selecting test questions for release, the following three criteria were used: (1) the questions adequately cover a selection of the academic content standards assessed; (2) the questions demonstrate a range of difficulty; and (3) the questions present a variety of ways in which the standards can be assessed.
The Data Quest is a research tool provided by the California Department of Education to help educators find the fact about California schools and districts. Administrators and teachers may review California Standards Test (CST) scores and make data-driven decisions.
